Killed when he was struck by a stolen vehicle as he attempted to stop it with a spike strip on the M48 Motorway.
Police Memorial Tribute
PC Jones was killed during the pursuit of a stolen vehicle on the M48 motorway near Bristol when it swerved on to the hard shoulder and struck him as he attempted to stop it by deploying a spike strip in front of it.
