Died in hospital after being fatally injured in a road traffic accident while on attachment to the crime squad.
Police Memorial Tribute
Detective Sergeant Gibson died in Warrington General Hospital from the injuries he sustained while travelling to Northwich when, shortly before midnight, his unmarked vehicle veered of the road and through a fence near the village of Dutton.
Neil was stationed at Runcorn.
