Police Constable Michael Bruce collapsed and died while on duty after suffering a heart attack.
Michael moved to the UK from Trinidad and always aspired to join the police service.
Starting as a designated detention officer in Tolpuddle Police Station, looking after people being held in custody, he progressed to a CID officer in the robbery unit in Islington.
Michael is survived by his ex-wife Janice, son Micah and wider family in Trinidad.
