Died when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle on the A41 in Hertfordshire after he was struck by a pheasant that flew across the road.

Died when he lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a recovery vehicle parked in a lay-by on the A41 between the Chesham and Tring junctions in Hertfordshire after he was struck on the upper chest by one of two pheasants that flew across the road as he travelled home from duty.
