Killed when he and two colleagues were struck by a car at a traffic check during an enemy air raid.
Police Memorial Tribute
Special Constable Bertram Holt Cattell was also killed in the same incident and Sub-Divisional Officer Ernest Hugh Johnson died from his injuries the following day.
