Fatally shot alongside a colleague during a joint RIC and military raid on a terrorist fund-raising dance in Limerick.
Police Memorial Tribute
His colleague, Constable Alfred C. Hogsden, was also killed in the raid at Cahirguillamore House, Limerick. The dance was being held while the owner of the house was away.
