Died from his injuries after his left arm was crushed by a train.

Died at home from his injuries after his left arm was crushed by a train leaving the South platform when he slipped as he crossed the line while on duty at Parcy Main Station, North Tyneside. Two doctors were summoned but they were unable to save the officer.
