Roll of Honour Citation
Died in hospital two weeks after sustaining serious injuries when he was struck by another cyclist while on cycle patrol.
Police Memorial Tribute
While on night-time cycle patrol on 12th December 1914, in Norton Hall Lane in Norton Canes, PC Adams was struck by another cyclist and knocked to the ground, causing him a serious head injury.
He died in Wolverhampton Hospital two weeks later, on 27th December, as a result of cerebral compression.
