Died when he was struck by a car while setting out cones on a dual carriageway.
Police Memorial Tribute
Died from head and internal injuries sustained the previous evening when, in dark and misty conditions but wearing reflective clothing, he was struck by a passing car while setting out cones to protect the scene of a broken down vehicle on the A12 dual carriageway near Colchester.
