Killed alongside a colleague by a terrorist car bomb that exploded in Lower Donegall Street, Belfast.
Police Memorial Tribute
Constable McAllister’s colleague, Constable Bernard Malachy O’Neill, was also killed when the bomb exploded outside the offices of the ‘News Letter’ newspaper in Lower Donegall Street, Belfast.
Five civilians were also killed.
