Killed when he was thrown from the trap he was driving after it overturned near Truro.
Police Memorial Tribute
Superintendent Marshall died at the scene from severe head injuries after being thrown from his trap when, in the darkness of the evening, it overturned as one of the wheels ran up the roadside bank close to Polsue Gate, near Truro.
Edward, a married man, was interred at St. Mary’s Church Burial Ground in Truro.
