Died in hospital after sustaining fatal injuries as he and a colleague prepared to stop a speeding van that rammed their vehicle.
Police Memorial Tribute
PC Moore and his colleague, PC Andrew Carl Munn, who died at the scene, were preparing to assist in stopping a speeding van being pursued by police from Solihull in the West Midlands, when the driver, who was drunk, deliberately rammed their police vehicle as they waited in a layby on the A42 near Worthington in the early hours.
