Police Memorial Tribute
Died five days after being shot and fatally wounded in Frinton-on-Sea, Essex, when he challenged a suspect for whom he had been waiting to collect the stolen money the man had hidden following a series of raids on post offices in the area. PC Bishop was a member of the Essex Police Tactical Firearms Group.
