The Charities
Two charities, one shared mission
The Police Remembrance Trust and the Police Arboretum Memorial Trust have long worked with the same purpose at heart – to ensure that officers who have fallen in the line of duty are honoured with dignity, accuracy, and enduring respect. Our values, our mission, and our commitment to remembrance are deeply aligned, and increasingly we are finding ways to bring our work closer.
Together, our efforts form a powerful and united commitment to commemoration.
Police Arboretum Memorial Trust
The Police Arboretum Memorial Trust was established in 2015 to create the UK Police Memorial, a national tribute honouring the courage and sacrifice of those from the UK’s police service who have dedicated their lives to protecting their communities.
Police Remembrance Trust
Incorporated by Royal Charter, and with His Majesty The King as Patron, The Police Remembrance Trust was established in April 2023, following the merger of the Police Roll of Honour Trust and National Police Memorial Day.
